About this event
The UAE National Orchestra opens the 2026 Festival season with a programme of sweeping drama and orchestral grandeur, conducted by François López-Ferrer — recipient of the prestigious 2024 Sir Georg Solti Conducting Award.
International competition laureate David Khrikuli takes the piano for Rachmaninoff's beloved Piano Concerto No. 2, showcasing soaring lyricism, brooding passion and breathtaking virtuosity. The evening concludes with Dvořák's Symphony No. 8 — a score of radiant invention and folk-infused warmth.
